🏡 House rules for the cottage
By making a booking, you agree to our house rules. We ask that you read them carefully in advance. If you have any questions or if something is not entirely clear, the owner or their representative will be happy to explain. We wish you a pleasant and relaxing stay at Au Charme Charentais.
🔑 Arrival and departure
• Check-in is possible from 4:00 p.m. Please check out before 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise agreed.
• A deposit of €300 is required for the rental of the cottage. This will be refunded within 7 days after the end of your stay, taking into account any costs.
• Thank you for leaving the cottage tidy, separating waste and depositing it in the correct containers.
• Please strip the beds and place the sheets in the living room downstairs.
🚭 Smoking and fire
• Smoking is not allowed indoors and can only be done outside. Please take account of fire safety and do not discard cigarette butts.
• Gas-powered barbecues are available for grilling. Due to the risk of fire, the use of wood-fired or other barbecues is not permitted.
🐾 Pets
• Pets are not allowed.
🔇 Peace and respect
• Respect the peace of neighbors and other guests.
• Silence between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
• No parties or events without prior permission.
• Loud noise (including music, fireworks, etc.) is not permitted without the owner's prior consent.
🧼 Cleanliness and waste separation
• Use the property and inventory with care.
• Separate waste according to local guidelines (glass, paper, and residual waste). Upon arrival, we will inform you about the correct procedure.
• Please turn off the heating and lights when you are absent.
Swimming pool
• The swimming pool can be used daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• The use of glass (ware) around the swimming pool is not permitted. The owner or their representative will provide suitable plastic tableware for this purpose.
• Do not leave any items or waste when you leave the pool area.
• Close the parasols as soon as you leave the pool area.
• Always close the gates behind you when entering or leaving the pool area.
• Do not prop open the gates with objects or other obstacles.
🛟 Safety
• Report any damage or defects immediately to the owner or their representative.
• For safety reasons, we ask you not to use deep fryers.
• A fire extinguisher and a fire blanket are available in designated locations.
• Please close doors and windows when you are absent.
• Thank you for closing the parasols on the terraces when you leave or at the end of the day.
🧑🤝🧑 Maximum number of people and visitors
• The maximum allowed number of guests must not be exceeded.
• Visitors are welcome, but they may not use the pool or stay overnight without the permission of the owner or their representative.
📶 Internet use
• Wifi is available for normal use (email, browsing, streaming).
• Illegal downloads or misuse of the network are prohibited.
Deposit
• A deposit of €300 is required for the rental of the cottage.
• The deposit can be paid by bank transfer, cash, or check.
• After your stay, the cottage will be inspected for damage, cleanliness, and missing items.
• The deposit will be refunded within 7 days, minus any costs.
• Any damage or additional cleaning costs will be charged and clearly communicated.
